Tips and Ways to Find Deals and Discounts on eBay

In fact, eBay could almost be your best friend when it comes to finding retail bargains with a number of built in strategies for keeping prices down. When you first open the app, you'll want to head directly to the home screen and tap "Daily Deals" which spotlights time-sensitive price cuts in electronics, fashion, collectibles, and more. Use category filters and sort by "Price + Shipping: Lowest" to quickly find the cheapest listings.

Activate push notifications and saved searches to ensure that the app notifies you if pursued items are discounted or new matches emerge. Visit Check My eBay, Coupons from time to time; you will discover app-only promo codes sent by eBay and 3rd party vendors that apply automatically when checking out. Check individual item pages for seller coupons — many listings indicate "Save 10% when you buy 2" or a checkbox to add an available coupon.

Try using Best Offer to bargain with sellers, and search for refurbished or open-box products; you can also filter by free shipping. The app also sends out extra site wide codes around seasonal events like Black Friday. Most refurbished items, a coupon and price-drop alert for each item can quickly pile on 30–50% discounts off the retail.

It is a huge enabler because it allows sellers to showcase product condition, generate trust and sell directly through engaged audiences. It takes the guesswork out of shopping for buyers and adds a bit of entertainment to it.

eBay Live also supports hosted events where eBay's own curators or partners and brands see themed sales, such as “Sneaker Drops” or "Vintage Toy Hour". The service is being rolled out more broadly to additional regions and categories as a part of an overarching trend across e-commerce toward shoppable livestreams. To sum it up, eBay Live transforms a stagnant marketplace app into an active shopping community-driven space.
