How to Check Inventory & Plan Efficient Shopping Trips with the Costco App

Start by setting a default warehouse in the Costco app. Tap the Warehouse icon at the bottom of the screen. Choose your location on the map or enter a zip code in the search bar. Then tap to make that location the primary store. After the warehouse is set you can search the inventory of that warehouse directly. Type an item name and the Costco app will show whether the item is in stock has stock or is not available at that location. If the item is out of stock use the Find option to see if other Costco warehouses near you have the item.

Next, create shopping lists to stay organized. While you are looking at products tap the heart icon or the Add to List icon. Give your list a name. Save the items. You can. Edit these lists anytime in the Account section. This makes it easy to prepare before you leave your home.

For trip planning combine the inventory results with real-time gas prices and store hours. On the page that shows warehouse details you will see the gasoline prices for regular and premium fuel. You will also see the operating hours and the holiday hours. This lets you pick the convenient location based on what is in stock how much gas costs and when the store opens and closes. It helps you avoid lines, closed stores or extra driving.

With these features the Costco app turns last-minute guessing into planned shopping.

Managing Savings, Receipts & Executive Rewards

To see the promotions, open the Costco app and tap the Explore or Savings section. You will see Instant Savings, warehouse coupons and online-only offers that are updated regularly. Many Costco members check this before shopping to plan their trip around the discounts.

For receipts, go to Account (or Membership) and then choose Orders and Purchases or Receipts. Both in-warehouse purchases and Costco.com purchases appear here. You can search by date download PDFs or view the list of items. This is useful for returns, price adjustments or tracking expenses.

Executive members can check their 2% Reward balance in the Account area usually under Account Details or Rewards. Only the primary member sees the estimated reward. The reward can be applied to renew the membership or to purchases. The balance updates when eligible spending occurs.

To manage orders and account information stay in the Account section. There you can track the status of an order update payment methods edit shipping addresses manage shopping lists change communication preferences and renew the membership. Everything stays synchronized with the Costco.com profile for an experience on all devices.

These tools help Costco members save time and get the value without needing paper receipts or extra logins.
